A Modern Tower
Inspired by the Classics 520 Fifth Avenue was designed by KPF as a habitable sculpture of striking proportions, combining timeless design with high-performance engineering, energy efficiency, and sustainability. KPF’s design was inspired by the setbacks of landmark towers like Rockefeller Center, the arches of Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, the grand portico of Lincoln Center, and the classical detailing of Club Row.

The tower’s language of graceful arches creates distinctive interior moments and frames iconic city views; its setbacks gracefully spiral up the tower to an elegant crown with a distinctive presence on the skyline.

A Warm and Elevated
Sense of Arrival Charles & Co designed the interiors of 520 Fifth Avenue as a contemporary take on classic New York style, featuring intimate spaces imbued with a feeling of sophisticated coziness, impeccable quality, and quiet luxury for which the AD100 firm is known. Drawing upon its experience designing private clubs, restaurants, hotels, residences, and offices for the world’s most discerning tastemakers, Charles & Co selected the finest materials and textures to create timeless spaces throughout 520 Fifth Avenue.

Functional and
Flexible Spaces Office floors offer column-free floor plates and core-to-glass dimensions optimized for flexible layouts and maximum daylight on all exposures. Every floor features generous ten-foot-tall arched and operable windows. The tower’s innovative structural design allows for ceiling heights 12 feet or greater without joists, beams, or other structural intrusions.

Double arches at the building’s corners create dramatic spaces suitable for corner offices or conference rooms, ideal for tenants seeking executive conferencing with convenience to Grand Central Terminal.
